Pesticides applied on food crops and vegetables not only reduce the pest population but also leave residue of chemicals that may result in serious health consequences. The study aims to access knowledge, skill, behavior towards chemical pesticides among vegetable producers, sellers, consumers Rupandehi district. A survey was carried out from November 2018 January 2019 know behaviors growers, consumers. household with a well-designed questionnaire 180 respondents, 60 each using purposive sampling technique. present revealed knowledge their vegetables, pesticide handling inadequate. concerned authorities should stretch extension services regarding use post-use precautions nook corners Nepal as 60% farmers seek help Agrovet for such information rest either neighbors or manual. Sound policy formulation implementation are necessary judicious rational promoting non-chemical control measures. Such activities might solve pesticide-residue-related issues crop makes safe. Coordination organizations/agencies viz group, consumers’ association Government Organization, Non-Government Organization International is address supply chain.
